To The Praise Of His Glory!
Welcome to Randolph Online!
Thank you for visiting the website of Randolph Street Baptist Church. I trust you find this site informative and helpful. Please take time to explore the links as this will help you discover who we are and what is happening around here. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email me.
Our main pursuit at Randolph is the glory of God. There are many reasons for this but let me share two with you. First, this is God’s main purpose in the world. God wants His creation to know and experience the best and that is exactly what He is. This is why we spend much of our time together studying His Word. It is in the Holy Scriptures that God has revealed Himself most fully. Second, knowing God, our Creator, in all His majesty produces an overwhelming joy in our souls. God made us for Him and when God is known most fully there is a deep satisfaction unlike any pursuit in this world can produce. For these two reasons (and many others) we pursue God and His glory above all things.
Though this website will help you understand some aspects of Randolph, it is limited. To fully experience Randolph you need to meet the people. The folks at Randolph love their Savior and desire to serve their Lord through serving you. Please take time and visit us on a Sunday so we can meet you.

RANDOLPH STREET SUMMER PULPIT SERIES
This summer we will take a break from our study of 1 Corinthians to focus on some contemporary theological issues. Our goal will be to inform our minds with the Word of God concerning various misconceptions that affect the American Church today. May our thinking always be conformed to the Holy Scriptures!
June 1st
Conceived in Eternity, Born in Time - Understanding the doctrine of conversion. In today’s church we often hear phrases like, “Ask Jesus into your heart.” Or you might hear someone say, “Pray this prayer and you will be saved.” What does that mean? Is this counsel helpful? In this sermon we will seek to understand the biblical view of conversion.
June 8th
A Holy Confidence - Understanding the doctrine of assurance. How can a person know they are genuinely saved? Is it as simple as remembering the date and moment we prayed a prayer? In this sermon we will review what the Bible teaches concerning genuine assurance.
June 15th
Our Feet on Earth, Our Eyes Toward Heaven - Understanding the doctrine of God’s will. (part 1) In a day of much tragedy and chaos the American Church often dismisses God’s involvement and treats Him as a victim. Is God in control of evil and wickedness? In this sermon we will seek to understand the Bible’s teaching of God’s sovereign will.
June 22nd
Our Feet on Earth, Our Eyes Toward Heaven - Understanding the doctrine of God’s will. (part 2) Many Christians spend their lives looking for the will of God for their lives. Is this correct or is there something more we should seek? In this sermon we will examine this teaching with the goal of understanding how one should make daily decisions.
June 29th
To Dwell in the Garden No More - Understanding the doctrine of total depravity. Is mankind able to believe the gospel? Is mankind willing to believe the gospel? Much of today’s theology seemingly teaches only a partial impact of sin upon the life of the individual. However, what does the Bible teach? In this sermon we will set forth a Biblical view of man, the impact of sin and the glorious victory of the gospel.
July 6th
To Dwell in the Garden Again - Understanding the doctrine of heaven. Through songs and sermons heaven is often viewed as a place where many of our worldly desires will be fulfilled. Is this heaven? In this sermon we will focus upon the true glory of heaven.
July 13th
To Fall Beneath the Weight of Glory - Understanding the biblical teaching of worship. Often worship is rooted in emotionalism or regulated to a Sunday-only event. Is there more to Biblical worship? In this sermon we will seek to understand a Biblical vision of worship.
July 20th
What in the World is the Church doing? Understanding what the Bible says about Church Growth. Today the church growth gurus write many books explaining how the church can grow numerically. Is this focus biblical? If not, what should be the focus of the Church? In this sermon we will pursue God’s vision of the Church and growth.
