Summer Seminar I: God's Glory in Salvation Through Judgment (An Overview of the Bible)

This seminar traced the central storyline of the Holy Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. This class helped students better understand the primary aim of God’s Word as it is unfolded in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. Upon completion of this class the students were able to better understand the unity, structure and flow of God’s Word and His glorious purpose. The objective of this seminar was not simply information, but worship as we see the One who works all things according to His own counsel exalted through His Word.

This seminar was taught by Dr. Jim Hamilton. Dr. Hamilton serves as the Pastor of Preaching at Kenwood Baptist Church in Louisville, KY. He is also an Associate Professor of Biblical Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He graduated with his B.A. from the University of Arkansas, Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary and Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. You may read his blog at jimhamilton.info.

The textbook for this class was Dr. Hamilton's book: God's Glory in Salvation Through Judgment: A Biblical Theology.
