Few things enhance the life of a Church more than the sound of little feet walking (or running!) though the halls. We love the children of Randolph Street Church and want this always to be celebrated.

In order to recognize the birth of a child into one of our families, our elders have set aside special times of baby dedication. We want to do something more than simply acknowledge a newborn's first Sunday with us; we want to publicly celebrate children as a gift of God and pray for parents to raise their children to bring much glory to God.

When our elders first led our Church family to celebrate this event (2010) we saw several large Sundays of child dedication. Going forward we ask that parents notify us of the baby's first visit to our worship gathering so we can enjoy this time of dedication with the child's family and Church family.

• A public expression of the parents to raise their children in a manner that glorifies God. This means the parents acknowledge their responsibility to be the primary teachers of God’s Word to their children while modeling what it looks like to be a follower of Jesus.
