Confessions We Value
Catechisms and confessions are only summaries of the teachings of the Holy Scriptures. They are not infallible, as is the Bible.
We all need teachers and counselors. The Scriptures are clear on this. The blessings of historic Church confessions is we have the opportunity to learn from the saints from the ages past. They were not always perfect in their thinking (as we are not), but they can bless us by the way they deeply thought through the truths of God's Word.
Such confessions comfort us in knowing that Christians have believed the same gospel since the time of Jesus Christ. Below is a list and some links to these creeds, confessions and catechisms.
